Why would your event, why would your office, why would your staff potentially be targets for either violence or exploitation?  Who would be the players in such scenarios, and what would be their potential motivations?  Is it really your event that is the true target or is it the venue, a speaker, or the attendees themselves?  What about the role of protests and protestors and how these are impacting events?  Learning to profile your events and your people is the first step to mitigating potential harm to all.  That is what this presentation will address as well as the paper trail of documentation and due diligence to mitigate your association's potential liabilities.
