About OSAE

The Oklahoma Society of Association Executives (OSAE) is the only organization in Oklahoma which serves the state’s association profession.  Founded in 1963, OSAE was created to promote the profession of association management by educating members and the public in the management, improvement and uses of associations.  OSAE provides resources on the professional development needs of its members by providing information, education and ideas to assist association executives in the profession.  Members of OSAE are association staff and executives who are involved in trade associations, professional societies, foundations, chambers of commerce, convention bureaus and their affiliates, as well as those who provide products and services to the association community.

Mission Statement

The mission of OSAE is to serve its members through professional development, networking, research and legislative advocacy.

Annual Summer Conference

This networking retreat provides both education and fun activities for you and your family.

Support for CAE Candidates

OSAE supports executives preparing to take the Certified Association Executive examination sponsored by the American Society of Association Executives  by providing program review courses and local exam sites.

SIG/CEO Roundtables

One of OSAE’s newest offerings are periodic, informal lunches which allow OSAE members to “talk amongst themselves” about everything from hotel contracts to e-commerce.  Just another way your OSAE membership serves you.

F.U.N.

We hope to think that all OSAE activities are fun, but in this case the acronym standsfor Fantastic, Unusual and Non-traditional.  Look for details about F.U.N. events throughout the year.
